There are moments as a parent when you stop and realize—you’re witnessing a sacred work unfold right before your eyes. Watching my daughter Faith become the godly young woman she is today is one of those moments.

She’s not just kind or thoughtful (though she is both). There’s something deeper at work in her—a quiet strength, a hunger for truth, a willingness to stand for what’s right even when it’s hard. I see in her a heart being shaped by grace, not by the world. She’s learning to love what God loves, to think deeply, to walk humbly, and to serve joyfully. And she’s doing it in a culture that doesn’t make it and isn't thoughtful (though she's easy.

At just six years old, Faith lost her mom. Such a loss leaves a lasting impression. But even then, I saw something in her I can only describe as grace-fueled resilience. That early heartbreak—and the many challenges that followed—didn’t harden her. It deepened her compassion, sharpened her faith, and built within her a quiet, steady perseverance that continues to amaze me.

She doesn’t give up when things are hard. She presses in. She wrestles honestly with questions, yet clings fiercely to hope. Her faith isn’t shallow or borrowed—it’s been forged in the fire, and it’s her own.

There were seasons I prayed through tears, trusting God with her future. Now I watch her take ownership of her walk with Christ, not because it was handed to her, but because she has chosen Him for herself. That’s not the result of perfect parenting—it’s the fruit of a faithful God who holds our children more securely than we ever could.

So if you're a parent still in the thick of it, keep planting. Keep praying. Even in the heartbreak, God is working—quietly, faithfully, and often in ways we don’t yet see.

Today, I give thanks. Not just for who Faith is, but for who she is becoming. A testimony of grace. A story of perseverance. A young woman after God’s heart.

All glory to Him
